Guizhou Medical University (formerly Guiyang Medical College) Magic Ethnic Medicine College is jointly organized by Guizhou Medical University (formerly Guiyang Medical College) and Guizhou Magic Group. In 2004, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish an independent college of full-time education for general higher undergraduates. The national standard code is 13676. Based on the advantageous disciplines of Guizhou Medical University, relying on the strong faculty and good conditions of running the school, the College is unified in teaching and management by Guizhou Medical University, aiming at cultivating high-level medical talents with solid foundation, professional skills and innovative spirit. The Institute has been incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan of the Ministry of Education. Since 2005, it has enrolled students in 15 provinces, cities and districts. The issuance of students'diplomas and degree certificates shall be in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education concerning independent colleges.

The new campus of Guizhou Medical University is located in Guiyang City, the capital of Guizhou Province. The two sides will cooperate in the establishment of Sino-US International Business College.
